I just can't keep up with the changes...

CHANGES
Each week that goes by there are new things to try
Every day there are new things to learn
It’s the very quintessence of planned obsolescence
And you soon wonder which way to turn!
It was all very different when I was a lad
We had what we had - and that wasn’t too bad
We had little choice, with a limited range
But now we’re bombarded by “ progress” and “change” –
It’s not like the days when I used to be young
With all these new thingies to get round your tongue-
And it’s all from computers, that’s where they derive,
And they all go “beep beep” and take over our lives –

There’s routers, broadband, mobile phones,
Hubble telescopes and clones
Nerds and Geeks and wireless mouses
Domain names for hi-tech houses
WYSIWIG is What You Get.
And you can safely surf the Net
If your Password is protected
Trojan Horses are rejected
As are Viruses and Worms
(Double-click to read the terms).
Acronyms are used to tease –
LCDs and TFTs
SD Cards and ISPs
USBs, HDTVs
LEDs and MP3s
CD ROMs and ISPs
And they use them to confuse
With VCRs and CPUs
AOLs and GP-esses –
What do they mean? You’ve got three guesses.
Go and Google them, no sweat -
If you go on the Internet!
